Messi breaks record of goal scoring drought against Cech in a 0 - 2 win at the Emirates home.
OMG! OMG! OM...G! Did y'all see the game, it was marvelous but before i continue i wish to let you know that I'm a Barcelona fan so don't mind my little sentiments.
When i heard Luis Suarez forgot his passport at home on their way to the airport, i thought this was the beginning of badluck for Barcelona at first but he sent for it and they went to London.
The stadium was buzzing, fans were everywhere, viewing centers were filled with fans and football lovers then the game begun.
After Chamberlain lost a goal which a normal striker would have scored and when i say normal striker believe me i was talking about "Messi". Arsenal had a lot of opportunities but it no news if i tell you Barcelona had the possession. From Chamberlain to Giroud, Sanchez, they all played well but the catalians were not there to just play, they were there to win.
Just after the first half draw i told my friend who was complaining about how messi was not getting into the box and bla bla bla, i said "You won't see messi until the 70th minute and fortunately for myself and Messi he scored in the 72nd minute after an assist from Neymar who recieved a wonderful pass from suarez.
In case if you've not heard this before, today is the first time Messi will face cech and score. One of my friends said "that is arsenal's cech though, not my chelsea's" (he's a Chelsea fan) well one goal was not enough the flamini came in few minutes after tbe first goal with a giroud substitution and caused a penalty not up to a minute later and messi scored again. 2 goal for the world best player.
And i case you did not know, Barcelona didn't do any sub and this makes me think my coach is too good.
Additionally, y'all remember Arsenal draw to Hull city on Saturday resting players for today's game that same day barca played Las palmas and used the normal squad. Just before the Saturday game i remember Luis Enrique saying if anything can play in every 3 days, it's Barcelona.
Finally, the better side always wins.
